Early into production Zara will be asked to add social media tie-ins.

Wait no, I mean he'll have a free base product but will actually cost an obscene amount of money in microtransactions.

Okay, okay. What I was actually saying is no matter how much work Zara puts in, the end product will be completely different from what he envisioned.

gods damnit, is that any way in which children and mobile games aren't exactly the same?

Wow, congrats!

It's funny that just yesterday, Starr was asking me if anyone on the Brontoforums had a kid (not for any reason, just the subject of people we know online having families came up in conversation).

Squizzle has a kid, but he's only on the IRC channel.

Squizzle, not the kid.

I was gonna say, this is probably the only way we're gonna get new members.

Congrats Zara!

As far as creepy uncles go, the kids could do worse.

Buge found three packs of the old ST:TNG Decipher CCG in a bargain bin at Toys R Us and bought them for me as a gag. We opened what would have once been a chase rare: Wesley Crusher.

On the plus side, some dude sold me two of the rare mice I like for $30/each last week before I left. A mediocre new mouse would cost that much, so considering I had another one as a spare already and this mouse is both excellent and exactly what I want, I'm probably set for years and years (especially since I now have enough to reliably cannibalize them for parts as they die). Yussss.

Yes.

Twice this week, I was stopped by different people telling me they see me around town all the time and I wear the most amazing outfits and it always brightens up their day.

Going to Bermuda for my cousin's wedding on Saturday, staying for three days, then heading back home for work on Tuesday (since I got no days off left for this year). Obviously, not the most ideal length for a visit, but the wedding should be pretty good, and I'll be able to do stuff on Sunday.

This entire week has just been me running around between breaks at work, trying to cobble together everything I need for the trip, the wedding, and my passport, which I realized expired in June of this year. I've been running back and forth between my work at the passport office three times in as many days, having to shell out an extra 70 bucks for the expedited processing. THAT has sucked hard in this humid, hot-ass weather.

Anyways, it's finally all ready, after a mighty unpleasant week. I'm not particularly excited about going to a place like Bermuda (I'm more of a camping, hiking, forest kinda guy), but I'll try to enjoy it as much as I can.
