It must be Joxam, because for some reason it wouldn't let us whitelist MightyJoxam (I'm guessing our whitelist plugin actually checks to see if the username is valid?).

Appropriate that Zanzibar Land starts you right next to a massive terrifying rainforest infested with skeletons.

For those interested: There's a village at approx. -450 x, -850 z that's been fortified, lit up, etc, near a super cool giant mountain.

For the curious, there is now a nether portal close to spawn.

x= -9 z= -16

It's nestled in a treetop in the near border of the jungle. We are putting some vines up the trunk so you can get to/from the portal with relative ease.

Not my first choice of locations, but apparently someone was nice enough to visit hell, die near spawn, and it created a return portal for the deceased. Since I don't have a diamond pick yet, we'll let it slide for now. Later though I would love to move the portal to terra firma, and the exit to inside the giant fort that is right at spawn.

EDIT: This is a crunkatog (i.e. Starr) post.

I have a diamond pick, and can relocate the portal if you give me where to place it.
