A Magical Gathering

I redid Flint & GGG-Flint, and discovered that they actually have emblems as seperate cards now. Couldn't figure out how to Not-Center the text, but did make what I think are better tokens for Chauncey of Many and Treasure Gear P

And in case you were wondering if Kaladesh is going to be legit Indian-flavoured:
Creative Consultants
Jisi Kottakuzhiyil
Sandeep Kedlaya
Narayanan Raghunathan
Sathish Ramamurthy
Basha Mohideen
Trinadh Nemani
Time to awkwardly remind everyone how blindingly white Chandra is again (and calling her "canonically bi-racial", is pretty funny to a guy who lives in a city full of actual half-white/half-subcontinental young folks)! Or perhaps, like Gideon, she will suddenly acquire a new permanent tan and we'll get to hear endless mouthbreather rage about "pandering" and skeletons.

I'm more concerned that the 2016 Commanders will be 4-colour. Very skeptical about that design.

Man what kinda decks are they even going to make with that? Bleh.

Don't care, means I get to have legit commanders for all 32 color combinations once I get those and build my Karn Silver Golem deck. My existing plan was already to build 4-color decks commandered by the Nephilim since most people house-rule them as legal commanders anyways.
Also, my personal wild theory: Reprints of all of the Nephilim, with a newly-added "~ can be your commander" errata - it'd be somewhat of a first as far as actually changing function with errata, but it causes less impact than making them Legendary and gives them the ability to do two new 4c legendaries + the existing Nephilim to fit the typical "two new, one old" pattern of commander decks.

The old Nephilim were uh... not great. I would expect all-new cards, TBH.

Ink-Treader Nephilim is hilarious and will be going into whatever the Not-Black deck is, whether or not he's allowed to be commander. Because Kicked Rite of Replication.

Thinking a little small, aren't you? Imagine Desperate Ritual spliced on a Toils of Night and Day. Imagine Kodama's Might spliced onto a Path of Anger's Flame. Imagine Fiery Gambit.

Toils of Night and Day doesn't work with Ink-Treader because it has two targets. But Kodama's Might spliced onto a Blind With Anger sounds hilarious.

Oh and more fun. So Wizzerds decided it would be a great idea to have "HOW TO MAGIC!" flowcharts. No, really. I'm not kidding
Of course the community is already taking this and running with it.
They're just cranking them out on GG. The real fun will start when they catch people thinking they're real (God knows the real ones aren't much less absurd...).

I didn't realize 21st century TCGs meant "when in doubt, add randomness."
Also holy god the official flowcharts are SO BAD.

Well you see, because Mana screw isn't a thing in Hearthstone, they needed a way to make the game just as garbage.

Also Steamflogger Boss just jumped 8x in price.

Bought one mid-spike. I missed out on bitcoin, I won't make the same mistake with Steamflogger Boss.
Re: A Magical Gathering
MTG finance resembles the Beanie Baby market bubble so much, it's scary.
Re: A Magical Gathering
Shit, back in the day my neighborhood game store was pretty much exclusively MTG and Beanie Babies. I still have no fucking clue what the BBs were doing there but damn if some paradox clone of Christian Chandler and Comic Book Guy wasn't always present to lecture about the market value of the fucking things and also the exploits of his EverQuest character.

THE GATEWATCH IS GOING TO THE FAIR
I can’t believe that Kaladesh is going to be the fluff episode
While Jace is off on Innistrad, literally losing his mind, everyone else went to the fair
i told you guys they were gonna have a fun time

Re: A Magical Gathering
Huh... it doesn't show as a regular sold item, the listing's simply been removed. I wonder if someone contacted him directly to work out a non-ebay deal (and indeed, perhaps that was the idea all along).
For those of you coming in late, the link was to a complete Summer Magic set being sold by KidIcarus for $275k on ebay.
