They fixed it after ~3-4 hours and I think they were going to be able to do pairings correctly on day 2 regardless (albeit without tiebreakers from day 1)

So my local store is doing a $35 launch party draft of Eternal Masters, ($30 if you preregister like I did), with full normal prize support. After preordering boxes at $250 for a week or two and only raising it to $300 this week. Apparently they somehow managed to talk their rep into getting them 4x what was supposed to be the maximum allocation of boxes.

There's theories that he's just trolling (he occasionally plays magic with his friend and noted fellow troll Billy the Fridge) although I wouldn't put it past him to buy out Magic cards as part of trolling.

When that set was released that was our #1 card to get (yes, I mean in Spanish like that). Ours isn't foil though (but we don't care about foils because we're filthy plebes).
