Well, uh, that's an interesting choice of party theme.

I wonder if those are the same people or just the same idea as the Overwatch bunnygirls I saw at PAX.

It's a free weekend, starting in under an hour.
Re: Blizzard Presents:Pixar's Monday Night Fortress [Overwatch]
I now have every achievement except Sombra's "Hit 6 people with EMP at once".
Just need to do payload defense or work with a Zarya.

You finally got whatever one that you were trying to coordinate a team to cheese it?
Re: Blizzard Presents:Pixar's Monday Night Fortress [Overwatch]
Rapid Discord, yeah. Killed a D.Va, mercy flew in and ressed her, killed her again, t hen the mercy, turned around and there was a Reinhardt, so I got depressed as I threw Discord on him, before our Bastion gunned him down in half a second, achievement pop.

Re: Blizzard Presents:Pixar's Monday Night Fortress [Overwatch]
Haven't played since the end of the Olympic event, and little changes here or there have tempted me a little, but not enough. But whoa okay, THAT will 100% get me playing again.
Symmetra was *the* engie character I wanted to play in OW when engieing was always my very best ability in TF2, but her EXTREMELY situational nature drove me crazy and made me write her off as a main. Since Torb is just kind of boring to me, I never felt like OW had an engie character I could do well and have fun with. THIS is great.
Re: Blizzard Presents:Pixar's Monday Night Fortress [Overwatch]
I had to call Des about this. After months of shouting "IS THAT A PRO SYMMETRA?!" every time I see her PotGs this is like an early Christmas for her.

The sentry changes are just so, so huge.
You could always start 6 sentries, but the recharge was so slow and shitty that once your position was under pressure it was pretty much impossible to get back up to 6 unless you can catch a break, meaning your team had to make that space (or you did by going and laser-meleeing dudes). Now it will be realistically feasible to actually keep a full nest or line of traps up or even relocate just because you can.
She's getting a buff to pretty much every ability she has, in some cases massive. Holy crap it's amazing. Even the changes to her minishields seem like only a sidegrade at first, but in reality managing to keep your team in full minishields was such a shitty chore that it's just a huge buff in terms of simplifying her ability management.

Yeah I've always wanted to like Sym way more than I actually do like her, so I'm all on board for all of this.
Although I don't find Torb nearly as boring as Mongrel does when it comes to Engy-ing (because I like rivet-buckshotting people in the face and finding weird places to put his turrets -- something his recent hammer speed increase has helped with a goddamn ton) I'd still like something a bit more in that TF2-nest vein. Hopefully this'll scratch that itch.

Re: Blizzard Presents:Pixar's Monday Night Fortress [Overwatch]
Oh hey, they buffed Torb's hammer speed?
Don't get me wrong, I played a bunch of Torb and he was one of my top characters. I just felt like he was basically a slightly subpar clone of the TF2 engie. He was boring not because he has bad gameplay per se, but because he's way too familiar (only with a really shitty and grating character concept whose lines irritated me constantly). Playing Torb just made me want to play TF2 and regret getting OW.
Neo-Symmetra on the other hand is a legit upgrade in terms of tacticool shit you can do, laying traps and going crazy.

Christ. I'm watching Des in an all sym team and it is just... They're riding a completely turret hedgehogged payload, following a track of staggered photon barriers. She's just sitting in a chair on the car. Checking her nails. 600 shields on everyone. I'm laughing myself to tears.
Ludicrous aspie cluster fuck.

That's the name of our new band. Check out the first track on our album titled Album. Neither of us can sing so we had to get this primadonna.
