The best part is that the statues are of themselves.
"You'll never guess what I got you!"
"... I got you something too!"
"Okay, show me yours first!"

It's not gay unless the gladiuses are touching.

"no tiro"
Re: A Magical Gathering
Yawgmoth's Will as a creature. Which you can use at instant speed unlike YawgWin.

<Doug> One punchline could be Ulamog, Kozilek and Emrakul posing in front of three statues of themselves
<corpse_grinder> haha, that's great
<Cannonball Fun> Their tentacles intertwined. Poly triads finally represented in mtg.
<Jurick> I'm just glad to see Magic giving some representation to genderless world-eating abominations such as myself

And from Reddit:
-Honey, our statue is a 10/10 while theirs only add up to a 0/6, why are you so mad?
-They're mocking me, Cymede. They told Setessa that theirs wouldn't be 'monstrous.' I'm going over to give them a piece of my mind.
Later that night
-You know, they weren't so bad after all. They're chariots fans. And they gave me this sweet wooden horse for our plaza.
-Did you check the horse for soldiers?
[Looks out the window to a burning city] -Godsdammit!

Re: A Magical Gathering
I guess another cycle of Legacy dropping in price a bit, until a few players say: Oh hey Legacy is cheaper! And buy it up again.
so I guess SCG is tired of hemorrhaging money on the open series/states/other stuff: http://www.starcitygames.com/article/33 ... pdate.html2 Seasons
First season has 1 Legacy Open, 1 Team Constructed with Legacy, but most importantly only 2 Legacy Classics on those same weekends, so no more Legacy Sunday big events on the Open weekends
No more States
2 Regionals
Team Constructed Open is "each person plays a deck Standard Modern Legacy" and you play the other team's person on that format
No more regular/Super split for IQs, all IQs are $1K and give up to 3 points (Hoogland cheers) and 2 invitations
No Players Championship

This:
went up the same day this did.
Wizards joining the 21st century? It's likelier than you think!
To be fair to Worth, according to Monty (our ex-inside man) his job was always in part to play public scapegoat for MODO, in the same way that that's Rosewater's job for card design.

So... I'm guessing some Saudi prince who likes Magic (or probably the same person in Dubai who bought the only autographed graded-10 Alpha Black Lotus in existence at ~$125K) now owns the 1996 World Champion trophy.
Re: A Magical Gathering
It was ended by seller, and it said in the listing that "If I sell one of the other two other rare cards (alpha black lotus, summer serendib) I'm selling now, I will stop this sell." I imagine that one of those sold instead.
