SA-X is mostly interesting for body horror (powersuit horror) reasons. But I kind of like her also because the blank Samus face in the visor looks sexy to me. Also the idea of something that shares a lot of Samus' traits but is inherently up to no good is intriguing in the same way that all villains are intriguing, ego and id vs super ego and all that.

Allow me an argument for That Man. That Man commanded the Gear Project, which led to the insanity of his two closest friends and the end of the modern world. Sol Badguy was resourceful enough to regain his mind. The other was turned into Justice, a command class Gear that had no other goal than the absolute annihilation of humanity, and the raw power and army to do it. In fact, at the birth of said Gear, it turned Japan into that that crater in the background..

Kind of a dick, right? Well, to be fair, he's totally sorry for it. But not sorry enough not to still want to mess with humanity to elevate them to a higher plane of existence since it worked out so well the last time. In fact, he's been working in the shadows to manipulate events to this goal for hundreds of years! Fuck that guy.

Sol Badguy is actually the titular Guilty Gear and the protagonist of the franchise. The nom de plume points to his being a walking Freddy Mercury reference more than a villian.

Samuel's overall concept, cool voice, and (no doubt) vanity demanded height all make me love him as a villain. I also just like his relationship with the protagonist and how unfortunately necessary their temporary alliances are. I just wish he didn't look so damn generic visually.

Olivia Pierce may not the most creative design ever, but at least she looks cool and matches the setting well. Hayden just sorta looks like a walking vacuum cleaner.
