Re: Oh shit, what are we gonna do now?
Are we ever gonna get the rest of that money back or did we all just take yet another one for the team

Yes.

Canada demands the US end right to work laws as part of NAFTA talks. Ah okay that's what it's going to take for Donald Trump to actually pull out of NAFTA.

As someone who lives in Arizona (a right to work state), but whose grandfather helped build the steel workers union in Detroit, I would love to see this actually work.

Holy shit that's brilliant.
For some context, it's a desperation move from us anyway, because the initial proposal we received was described by one of the members of the Canadian negotiations team as "The worst trade offer he's ever seen in his lifetime". I didn't think we could play hardball too, but this is funny as fuck.

That one frame makes me want an edit where The Watcher merges with Barker and he regenerates into Louie Anderson.

This, uh... this might just be the scariest thing I've heard Trump say to date?
Re: Oh shit, what are we gonna do now?

Speaking of that... Starr and I were wondering yesterday: Has the US prison system become so bad that it's actually getting comparable to prison systems in Central American nations?

God help us all, we can only pray he's just doing this to get people to pay attention to him.

In fairness, he says a lot of stupid shit.
But hey, it's Fireday; we'll see if Tillerson makes it through the end of the day. He, Mattis, and Mnuchin have allegedly agreed to a "suicide pact" whereby if one of them gets fired, the other two will resign; that seems like a decent enough candidate for "the storm".
