The NYT has chosen to endorse Warren But Also Klobuchar, which is just about the most New York Times Editorial Board thing I've ever heard.

Two hours before the endorsement went up:

Parker Molloy: Chris Cillizza, impeachment, and a grotesque monument to modern media

Cillizza is, at best, an overpriced embarrassment CNN has chained itself to. He treats politics like a game played for his entertainment, rather than something that affects the lives of everyone in the country. His Twitter feed is a mess of played-out memes that make his reaction to any given event as predictable as a talking doll with a pull string. Though he’s treated as an expert on the American political establishment, his analysis comes with the naivete of a newborn child.

In short: Cillizza is bad, and his impeachment analysis shows just how bad.

(links/formatting omitted)

Chris Cillizza is the David Brooks of Chuck Todds.

Looks like their promise not to cover the primaries is already out the window.

It tickles me to remember that Bloomberg's not even on the ballot NV anyway.

You know why passive voice gets a bad rap?

Because of shit like this.

"The attention will go to the next-best finisher." Yes. Because you, the press are the ones giving the attention to the next-best finisher.

It'd be like Fox News publishing a story that said "Barack Obama will be subjected to racist conspiracy theories with no basis in reality." Or the Hunter S Thompson line about "I never said it was true, I just said it was a rumor. And that was true. It was a rumor. Because I started it."

Well, at least one guy on MSNBC gets it.

I'm kind of amazed they let him go on so long uninterrupted.

Between the weird antisemitic analogies, and the credible allegation of sexual harassment? Good riddance.

Hey now, those people are just like you and me, they have to do a job they hate or else they'll lose their health insurance.
