Re: "Coronavirus" is the category, dangit. (COVID-19 thread)

Leftist YouTuber Renegade Cut has a video titled Misinformation for Fun and Profit which posits a theory to explain things like COVID denial. Essentially, wealthy capitalists fund politicians and media to produce propaganda in order to convince the working class to vote and behave against their own ...

Re: The Star Trek Thread

This video posits that nearly everything bad about Star Trek from mid-TNG onward was actually producer Rick Berman's fault, and everything good was achieved in spite of him.

Re: The Star Trek Thread

Enterprise being chronologically the earliest means that in the first two seasons they get to do a lot of stuff for the first time. Tactical officer Malcolm Reed is grumpy a lot, I guess because they figure he has to be Worf, but he's a short not-very-threatening British guy who just goes around try...

New Discovery season 3 trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70dm3WzNuss It seems like they're doing the Andromeda thing where the galactic civilization of good guys has fallen and our heroes from the past must recreate it from scratch. It's also a little reminiscent of the cancelled Star Trek: F...

Re: HOW WAS YOUR DAY

YouTube playlists have always been unreliable. At some point they stopped showing the video titles of deleted videos in playlists, so you just had to guess or google the video URL to try and work out what it used to be. A lot of my favorites were deleted this way over the years due to copyright, and...

This reminds me of the "negative ion" wristbands and such, apparently containing "tourmaline". Turns out it's radioactive thorium.

Re: The Star Trek Thread

Discovery is okay. It's no DS9, but it has its good and bad parts. You have stupid stuff like "I like science!", time crystals, an overexcited technobabble scene so ridiculous that Red Letter Media did an entire parody of it, the cliched move of killing off a gay character (and then br...

Re: Game musings and news

At least they got some use out of the music. just to clear things up, the prototype does NOT have music. i just put the music in so the video wouldn't be entirely dead air. Please remove the music - I have seen various commenters on other sites that have embedded your video now indirectly spreading...

Wow, they have a full development repository for Pokemon Diamond & Pearl. The Pokemon ROM analysis historians are going to have a field day with this. There's already fanart of Arceus' placeholder sprite.
