Re: It's getting a little STEAMy in here.

I've been messing with the Lamb game, Cult of the Lamb, and after an hour or two of using the D Pad it's pretty awful. The text is also REALLY small on there, but it's not rated highly compatible. All the same, it runs pretty smoothly and it's still super fun to play. My girlfriend has been BURNING ...

Those are all great points.

We'll see how it goes.

Re: It's getting a little STEAMy in here.

I really love my Deck! I'm not going to re-image it or anything, just using it out of the box. Obviously things not rated to run super well... don't. Lot of readability stuff. My only big criticism is on games that heavily use the D-Pad, essentially, (the letter buttons?) can wreck your thumb. I fee...

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

OH, well, that's good. I've been wondering how well his strategy would work against something as massive as the DOJ versus something like, you know, a local HVAC company.

I have precious little knowledge about how a lot of this works, so forgive any dumb worries of mine.

DAMN. This'll just get appealed and draw out the whole thing as things get slogged in the appeals process.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

I've seen a tweet or two that says he may in fact still be on that case, but they're tweets , so I'm going to wait to see how that all shakes out. Seems to a growing case in any case: https://www.axios.com/2022/09/27/doj-asks-judge-to-compel-navarro-to-return-trump-white-house-emails

Rogue elements within the government? Movies have told me this is fairly common.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

Can Dearie say their claims are flimsy and allow the DOJ to move forward as usual? I feel like this is just dotting another i.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

I think he was mostly hinting at first (I would be surprised if he knew what exactly it was in the beginning), but it seems like he's narrow casting more and more to them. I don't disagree with Mongrel's friend, but I also wonder if it could be that the Q freaks simply aren't abandoning him. I know ...

Have you tried Feedly? It's basically an RSS aggregator, but I like it enough for keeping up to date without being shackled to an algorithm. The version I use is free.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

Midterms aren't going to make a difference to a DoJ investigation. Republicans are threatening retaliatory investigations against Garland if they take the House, and I'm sure that'll be an inconvenience for him, but I don't think it'll meaningfully impact the day-to-day functioning of the DoJ. That...

That's what I was thinking. Trying to stall until they can win back enough influence in the midterms, but like you said, things are sorta not trending exactly in their favor.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

Yeah, to be perfectly fair, there's a LOT of shit piling up on Trump and his cohorts. It feels like the only strategy with any of them is just "running out the clock". Is that a winning strategy? I'm not so sure.

Re: Trump Leaving Office Poll (Part 2)

Just for my two cents, I didn't mean it to be an argument for anything, I just meant that I feel there's a part of me that just expects people like that to never face consequences.

I do not in fact think everything sucks and nothing matters.

Re: Lord of the Wrongs

That wink has such comedic timing, it completely defuses whatever weight the rest of the figures could have conveyed. Coupled with the guy at the end going "c'mere, check this out", it's like the opening to a weird 90s kid's fantasy show.
