In any case FMA: Brotherhood is better than the first anime because it's an actual adaptation of the manga material as opposed to just making up an original second half once they had run out of available manga.

That's why subs are better than dubs anyway. Unless the japanese lady who actually wrote the manga demanded he be in the english dub or else she wouldn't write the manga.
