If you're an 80s kid from the U.S. it's one of the shallowest cuts available.

You don't even have to be an '80s kid. DARE is still a fucking thing and, presumably, the reason my nephew thinks two beers a day make me an alcoholic.
Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams
Yeah that's dumb. It's clearly your job.
Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams
Wait, my job makes me an alcoholic, or alcoholism is my job?

He's just pissed you've got two and he's got none.

My wife asked me to stop quoting the Homer "not till you're fifteen" line.

It sounded to me like your job is to drink two beers a day!

Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered
And there's nowhere to turn
You wonder how you keep going (going~)
Think of all the things that really mattered
And the chances you've earned
The fire in your heart is growing (growing~)
You can fly, if you try, leaving the past behind
Heaven only knows what you might find

It took me until middle school to realize that song and the drug program were totally unrelated.

The Gartic prompt was "First you draw a circle"
and the resulting picture was indeed a circle, but yellow
"Then you draw the eyes"
and they did
"Add a great big smile,"
and a couple floppy ears, why not
"and PRESTO! It's Air Bud!"

Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams
Took me several seconds to realize what thread I was in and that this is a dream and not an actual gartic I missed.
Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams
That's so much better than my boring old dream that nyao came back online and we could all use #tell and #markov again.
(I'm not trying to be snarky; I literally dreamt this last night.)

Re: In the Land of Wonderful Dreams
I just woke up from watching a movie with a plus-sized bikini'd warlock who kind of looked like Amy Schumer. She humiliated a couple adventurers in a duel with fighting daggers and being partially made of sparkling purple mist. Like, they'd actually land a hit but it'd pass through and she'd give some cheesy one-liner. The acting and effects were on the Outer Heaven side, but it was actually kind of awesome

I was having that naked/underwear in class dream again.
But then my favorite math professor came by all like "I got you covered" and handed me a spare outfit.
