...my daughter just tried to escape from time out by sneaking underneath a cardboard box. I'd be tickled if I weren't so blindingly frustrated with her (she peed her pants, fought her way through the entire potty break, and tried to pinch and bite her way out of getting dressed).

Oh crap, I just imagined them learning to yell "Liquid!" and "SNAAAAAKE!!!" at each other with increasing volume, like as a game

Spent the day at a four hour outdoor multi course meal. Food was good, and it was someone's birthday, but the notable thing was that someone in my party noticed an abused dog next door. She then kept talking to people until it was rescued, and my partner's parents took it home. Heck of a night.

I had to get a tooth extracted yesterday.

It was one of my wisdom teeth, so now I'm 25% less wise.

Browsing used local sales for a spare screen and came across this listing:
Dell 27” LED monitor. Working fine.
Model No: S2721H
Broken screen . Power cable included.

Working fine.
Broken screen.

EDIT: This does not appear to be an isolated thing
This montior is broken, it doesn't show anything on the screen, but the stand is still functional.

$20.

Screen flickers black and stays black for extended periods of time, otherwise everything is in working order. $15

Broken screen. $30

2 milfunct. monitors $20 One monitor is not showing the desktop when connected to the laptop and the other works but shows a stripe across the screen.

Hey, at least this guy's only asking for five bucks!
24 Inch Acer Monitor for parts $5

Everything works except the screen which is broken. Otherwise it's a solid $150-200 monitor, if you can fix or replace the screen.

Two! Two sillies! Ah ah ah!

1) Was out driving and noticed the guy behind me at a light had added ANGRY EYEBROWS to the headlights of his Jeep.
2) Got home and had a flyer in the mail advertising "Ontario's First Italian Meal Delivery Service!", which, uh. I hate to break it to you guys, but...

(and that's even if you do believe - correctly - that "Pizza Pizza is not Italian food.")

My wife and I are up at my parents' house for a delayed Thanksgiving visit, and I just learned last night that the union that the GO transit bus operators (but not the train operators) are threatening to go on strike on Monday, which is the day we were planning to head home. I'm all in support of collective action, but still.

Lol. Lmao

Family is getting on my case for not being a part of the Secret Santa whatever-they're-doing, when I travel across the country to visit them this December

Well, my wife and I dodged a bullet. We decided to come home early, and I just learned the GO bus drivers are striking tonight.

I call the guy a fucking moron, he goes "no u", I click on his username to look for the "Mute user" button. His last upload is a confession about that time he drank his own piss by accident.

I feel no further argument with this individual is warranted.

Moving out of the haunted library, gonna punk around the desert for a bit again. It was cool to rejoin civilization just in time for the nazis, plagues and wildfires. Super great to get gassed in my own house while secret police shove people into unmarked vans. It's just so quirky how half my neighbors voted for slavery. This year.

Woody Guthrie wrote:"Portland is a place where rich ones run away to settle down and grow flowers and shrubbery to hide them from the massacres they've caused. Portland is the rose garden town where the red, brown, blackshirt cops ride up and down to show you their finest horses and saddles and gunmetal. Mentally Portland is the deadest spot you ever walked through. She's a good 30 years behind Seattle"

Not a goddamn thing has changed since he lived in this house.

On the plus side Izzy did a speed run of my disillusionment with publishing and somehow came out stronger and angrier.

If I had a nickel for every time someone looted the pot shop across the street by driving a car through it last night I'd have two nickels.
