...did he, though? Because I'm looking at Bodega Cats and it still shows the approximate time on the header and the exact timestamp when I click through. This seems to match the format on Bluesky, too.

I don't see anything about this on DuckDuckGo, Google, and only one post on Bluesky which claims it's only happened through an app update.

It appears this is primarily in-app. In a browser, Tweets will display a timestamp if clicked on directly.

So, forcing people off the dedicated app, which is even funnier and dumber.
