Yesterday, Car Notch held a press conference where he outlined his plans to start cutting people's brains open and putting computers inside, which will definitely be 100% trustworthy, definitely not turn users into hive-minded cult-drones, definitely be humanity's last, best defense against the AI singularity, and will also definitely have a working prototype before the end of next year.

I would fucking love to see Elon Musk go to jail for defamation but as we all know he is in one of the three following groups:

1. a cop
2. a billionaire with a cult-like following of fucking idiot shitbrains
3. the sitting president

and the law cannot be used against those groups as they have over 90% law-resist

The only way I know of to fight against the proliferation of memes centered on reprehensible individuals is to avoid participating in or contributing to those conversations. The consequence of this is that over time, my communication becomes increasingly specialized and looks to the casual observer as though I am out of touch, at least until they ask my opinion on <x>, which finally permits me to very pointedly change the topic in such a way that my previous seeming ignorance is finally demonstrated to be deliberate.

I think there's a reasonable chance that he'll be found guilty and fined, but of course a fine isn't much of a punishment or deterrent to people in his bracket.

Yeah, I thought of that as I was posting, and also then the following "fines don't work as punishments on people who have billions of dollars" but then decided to post it anyway, because like I said, I'd love to see him go to jail for a year or two to teach people that just because you have a billion dollars doesn't mean you can just call someone a pedophile and try to ruin their life.
