There are those the law protects but does not bind, and those the law binds but does not protect.

"Incredible", naw man, this seems like pretty credible evidence to me. Not that I'd need it. Even up in Canada, the LAPD has been a byword for corrupt, abusive policing for as long as I can remember, certainly even before Rodney King.

MAGA and Fascism

Best summation of Trump, MAGA, and the fascist movement I've seen.

Required viewing.

I don't think I've ever said that before.

Nobody here will learn anything, of course, so I mean required viewing by Moderates. It won't change the mind of the MAGAs, which the creator himself points out multiple times.

As soon as I saw Eco's Ur-Fascism cited as a reference in the header text, I physically gave my screen a thumbs up.

Two dead and another injured in Kenosha in a shooting last night. Details still unknown (Cops weren't shot).

With these (cop sanctioned) militia guys running around, expect more of this.

Post right above yours. We know who did it, the cops patted him on his back for doing a good job.

Apparently that video is from before the shooting, but the Kenosha cops let him go afterwards. However, he was arrested in Illinois and charged with murder.
How fleeting are all human passions compared with the massive continuity of ducks.

Racism, injustice, and everything else aside for a moment, I'm pretty sure that gibberish isn't even a sentence in the English language.

"listen, guys, we know you're being wholesale slaughtered by cops. But you need to just accept that that is going to be the case and do nothing about it, while I do nothing about it."

There's a lot of folks out there saying "But but but. Dude wasn't unarmed! Dude was a crazy man who ran at cops with a knife.", but you know if he was white he'd probably still be alive.

But Biden isn't even saying THAT. He's just being the Biden he's been for 50 years; the Biden that gave us the Crime Bill.

I mean, that's true in that it was a many with a history of mental illness who was threatening his own life with a knife and his mother called the police telling them that and that's why she felt she needed help and was still next to her son as he was shot. 10 times.

Yep.

And his mom called for an ambulance originally, not the cops.

Yeah, that's an important part of this. She didn't call the cops, she called an ambulance, and the cops showed up and started shooting within 15 seconds.
