so i just finished a bowl of cereal and was drinking the milk and i was like hmm i wonder if most people do this or do not do this, you know what, i could find out with a sample size so small it will not answer my question at all

Dry cereal stays crunchy as long as you need it to. I have my milk in a glass on the side.

It makes milk taste just like the milk leftover in a cereal bowl. Which, considering how often barley malt extract is added to cereals to enhance flavour, makes a whole lot of sense.

I have a bad tooth that I'm slow-rolling towards a root canal. I need to soak my cereal good in milk before I can chew it. Therefore there's hardly enough left to drink, but I do pour off what I can save for the next day. Or use it in cocoa, which makes for interesting bits in the cocoa :/

If Cake doesn't get to your cereal dregs first, that is.

Of course I drink it. What else would I do, pour it down the sink? That would be wasteful.

also i think drinking just milk is gross and adding cereal flavor to it does not change that for me

I don't like tea or coffee, I don't drink alcohol by choice, and soft drinks and fruit juice aren't great health-wise. My non-water drink options are limited!

yes it's from jordan peele's "get out" in which a character is a Secret Racist and when it is revealed part of that is the imagery of them keeping their coloreds separate from their whites

Well, you wouldn't catch me eating fruit loops, milk or no milk.

...that doesn't help my case, does it.

I was also confused by the imagery. Make them cocoa puffs.

I drink the milk when there's only a little bit left but I will usually add more cereal first to soak up as much as possible, for purely psychological reasons
