As tempted as I am to eliminate Super Metroid just because it might make the rest of the tourney less predictable, I think it's clear that it being tied in the ro32 is evidence that some people are voting intentionally to tie.

Like Grath and Buge. Who have admitted that they are doing that.

I prefer Sunset Warriors to Star Fox, but Star Fox is SNES-exclusive even if the Sunset Warriors port is pretty well-done. Breath of Fire is probably both better and worse than I remember it being, but even with a cleaned up translation and such it couldn't budge FF2.

a) no more vote-changing has pretty much put a kibosh on me being able to dick around like that;
2) this was one of the first ones where I legitimately voted for what I supported, those being both Super Metroid and Kirby. Given the choice to change my vote, I would've said fuck you to Super Metroid because I have massive nostalgiaboners for Kirby Super Star. And also because it'd be funny to eliminate Super Metroid.

SoulBlazer and Demon's Crest take this easily for me. One is an incredibly interesting game that I've got a lot of fond nostalgia for and the other is just dripping with goddamn style. OR MAYBE REVERSE THOSE.

Earthworm Jim's sloppy platforming and Legend of the Mystical Ninja's quirkiness just can't win out here for me.
