You know, I kept thinking Undersea Palace starts out with an incredibly familiar sound, but for the longest time I couldn't quite place it. Then suddenly, out of a 20 year old nowhere it just came to me: first level of Skeleton Krew. Good Lord that one was buried deep.



It starts at 3:45, but do click around on that timeline and expose yourself to some really weird dark/electronic/ambient stuff if ye're into that.

Aaaaaanyway I'm voting for Ys' vastly superior palace. :D

At first I thought everyone was crazy. For an instant I asked myself, what if I am crazy, and everyone else is sane? Everybody loves the Forest Temple, except for me! What if the ailment is within, not without? And I knew, I became knowledged, that this was true.

And then I shook my head and laughed and embraced the infinite expanse of madness inside, for it is the only one I've ever truly called home.

Devil's Lab is great, but it's a little too short before it repeats. I actually think the interruptions for battle music help in that regard, but I'm still gonna vote for Forest Temple.

Definitely two amazing tracks, but there's little question to me that Disco Descent is hotter. That said, there's a part of me that's like "well, if it loses, at least I won't have been partly responsible for knocking out Hyrule Castle".
