This is another case of "ask me again tomorrow and I'll have changed my mind". For now, I'm giving it to Last Duel on account of its smooth hotness slightly edging out Dead Sea's hoot smothness hoth smootness hot smoothness.

Dead Sea is one of the hottest tracks I've ever heard, but I would understand Last Duel winning this because it's got the energy on its side. Totally voted for Dead Sea though.

Last Duel is complete fire, but Dead Sea makes me remember exactly how I was sitting on the goddamn floor when I got to that tragic wasteland of a dungeon for the first time.

It's weird, voting for Valestein Castle here is both easy and painful. But I guess voting otherwise would be both difficult and painful so I'mma take the easy way out I guess?

Mana's music is pretty damn impeccable, but Mystic Invasion's pretty far from the ruins / Thanatos music or Leave Time for Love when it comes to dungeon themes in that game. Mysterious Cave can squeak by this one.

Well hey, guess I end up voting for Mysterious Cave after all; Mystic Invasion does a neat thing with its percussions but for me it's not quite enough to overcome how much more fun MC sounds.

Hmm. I thought this would be harder to decide, but after another good listen to both, I'm gonna have to give it to Sorcerian. As rad as Tyrano Lair is, it has as many moments where it's kind of hamstrung by the SNES synth as it has moments where it's perfect and glorious in it, and I end up wishing it could always walk the walk as well as it can talk the talk. On the other hand, Dungeon revels and thrives in every single aspect of its instrumentation and there isn't even one instant where I'd like it to sound different.
