Comic Replacement Game 2000 - Execution Phase
alright let's do this
4 people min, if we get 8+ people there will be 2+ teams
rules were uh
1) each person makes a comic with as many panels as there are people in their team MINUS ONE and PMs them to me
2) then each person removes the 1st panel of their comic and sends it to the next person in their team
3) new person fills in the panel, removes the next panel of the comic, and moves it onwards
4) when you're done with the last panel send it to me
5) try to take 24h or less per panel
player order is:
1. Laserbeing
2. Newbie
3. Mongrel
4. beatbandito
5. Buge MarsDragon
6. Brentai Mothra

I'm intrigued and/or horrified by the idea, but I'm not sure if I can find the time for it. Put me down as a "maybe?"

It's a really low pressure activity. In.

Yeah, for return on effort invested, Comic Replacement Game is some of the best value out there short of werewolf--and in wolfgames it's only because the officiant takes on so much of the effort themself.

Man Werewolf is hella pressure if you're a player. Or maybe just the way I played it.
This is just drawing a series of crappy doodles with no win/lose condition involved.

The MTG forums have had mafia games running for years and they blister with some of the most poisonous and vicious exchanges I've ever seen on the internet. I mean a lot of these guys have argued bitterly with each other for years in the main forum, but their mafia games are several orders of magnitude worse.

Well, yeah, it sure CAN be, but it's hard for me to characterize an activity as demanding when "minimalist infrequent posting" is an effective stratagem.

Hardly Ideal needs to make up his mind.
I will join/not join to avoid a 7-person game.
Will give a half-day more or so, toddler wants to play

Re: Comic Replacement Game 2000 - Interest Phase
I want to play, and want to have something to offer every 24 hours.
Take that as you will for deciding final numbers.

I think I'll skip this time. See how it's done and free up space for people who really want to play.

5 huh... is there a preferred layout? Do all the panels need to be the same size? We kind of assumed with 4 panels so it never came up.

1) Any layout!
2) Sorry Mothra we're booked, but if at least two more people record interest we can make a 2nd game.
