I'm not the Wii U's biggest fan, but I feel its underperformance here is more due to reputation (and the Switch's nearly complete cannibalizing) than anything else. There were three games on the system that I spent more time with than all of these other consoles combined, and none of those were even Smash, Mario Kart, or Zelda.
