Today I learned that there was a music video for Underground, the theme song David Bowie sang for the movie Labyrinth.

Proclaimers removed from King's coronation playlist

Oh shit, somebody forgot to hit Stop after the first track and finally heard the second one.

The one they mention in the article is even more direct. And it's from 2017, just in case anyone had thought they'd gotten soft in their dotage.

Heard this in the Marathon trailer that Bungie put out and it's a good enough remix that even the bits from other Justice songs getting mixed in doesn't bother me

Hunky Dory is the most New Dad album in Bowie's discography and possibly the most New Dad album in anybody's discography. I'm going with this one just at the moment but I could have just as easily picked Oh! You Pretty Things or even Changes.

Like most folks who've given them a listen, my introduction to The Chats was Smoko from a few years back.

Back then they were more garage band than anything, but they've polished up well and have become a pretty rockin traditional punk (if such a thing really exists) band since. Like good punks, they have a lot of fun with their videos. This one in particular combines a banger tune with a great video that's half Mike Judge and half a soup of other comic/animation styles (def some Robert Crumb in there).

It's a shame I completely bounced off Panty & Stocking, because the OST seems to be entirely bops and/or bips.

I couldn't help but keep thinking, "Man, they should make a new Toe Jam and Earl sequel."

I've been singing this one to the baby.

Good news and bad news, Ernie.

The bad news is that "king of the jungle" is a misnomer and lions do not actually live there.

The good news is, you already know a dinosaur.
