For some reason this is an mp4 so you need to use [webm] which I'm pretty sure also works for gifvs. But I've yet to encounter a .gifv I couldn't just force load as a normal animated gif by cutting the "v" off the end of the url.

For imgur videos you gotta use the [webm] tag instead of the [img] tag, UNLESS, you edit the URL to end in .gif

The sad part is that there WERE a lot of valid, correct findings in that study which have held up, and it also was a crucial ecological and scientific milestone which began a period of 40-odd years where we we ended up learning more about wolves and their real role in ecosystems than we had in the preceding 10,000 years.
