Truthiness! (Onion, Clickhole, etc.)
Re: Truthiness! (Onion, Clickhole, etc.)
It's even funnier than that. The image, headline and general aesthetics make it seem like you would be pedaling a giant box to work. Instead, it's a regular motorized vehicle it just has a gym inside instead of a living room

They did admit it was a joke (which is why I put it here rather than the news section).
But that was a good prank, yeah.

If they want people to understand it's a joke, the dateline should probably not be April 4th.

Funny enough the movie actually gets a pass on this... because it's set in 2002. I didn't know that until just now!

I recall seeing someone comment on that to the effect of how short our memories are after Kyanka v. Boll.
Re: Truthiness! (Onion, Clickhole, etc.)
There's a slight difference in the cultural cachet enjoyed by Elon Musk versus Uwe Boll.
I'm not saying there *should* be, but there is.

Pretty sure Musk is the Lowtax in this analogy

I feel like this is all a little unfair to Boll.
I mean, sure, his movies are metaphorical crimes against humanity, but they're not *ACTUAL* crimes against humanity.
(His restaurant is even really good!) (probably because he's not the cook!)

I...kinda assumed that in the analogy based on a guy asking people to fight him, the guy asking someone to fight him was meant to be analogous to the guy asking someone to fight him.
