Hot game deals
Re: Hot game deals
I do love the over-the-top silliness of Yakuza. And own five games in that series that I haven't played.
But OTOH it's not like $10 is a whole lot to ask. I think I got SR2 on GOG or something at some point but I never played it; I hear the Windows version is kind of a mess and doesn't work on modern PCs. (It'd be pretty funny if it ran better on Linux. But past a certain age, that's not that unusual.)

Re: Hot game deals
Fanatical's got a deal on for 17% off any full-price game with code FANATICAL17. So about $10 off $60.
I was tempted to either snag Horizon Forbidden West or preorder Ghost of Tsushima, but Sony games usually get discounts deeper than that within 6 months of (PC) release, so I'll probably just wait on a Steam sale.

Re: Hot game deals
MS has some good deals on at eBay right now. As of this writing you can get an Xbox controller for $45.
Re: Hot game deals
Golden Week sale at Steam for various Japanese publishers.
There's also a Steamworld franchise sale; you can get Steamworld Dig for under a buck.
GOG's got some sales on too.

Re: Hot game deals
May's Humble Choice has Hi-Fi Rush and Yakuza: Like a Dragon, among others. I'm thinking I'll grab it; I've been wanting to check out Hi-Fi Rush and $12 would be an all-time low price for that game alone.
(Y:LaD is a Steam code; the Steam version inexplicably still has Denuvo even though the game's been available DRM-free on GOG for months.)

Re: Hot game deals
Fanatical's got some deals on. Eiyuden Chronicle for $38 instead of the usual $50, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series for $8.59, SteamWorld Dig for a buck.
Re: Hot game deals
No Man's Sky is an all-time low $24 on Steam.
Re: Hot game deals
Looks like some sales on Xbox 360 games, possibly because they're shutting down online services for it next week. Blue Dragon is $6.59, Lost Odyssey is $8.24.
Course, under the circumstances you're probably better off buying physical copies.

Re: Hot game deals
Looks like there's an SE sale for Switch on, including Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line and the season passes. I think this may be the first time season passes 2 and 3 have gone on sale? At least it's the first time I've noticed, and I've been keeping an eye out.
Anyway, cool, I've been looking forward to some Chrono, Xeno, and Mana.
(If you don't already have the base game then you're better off getting the Premium Digital Deluxe Edition for $50, but I got the base game on card and the Digital Deluxe upgrade in a previous sale.)

Re: Hot game deals
Fanatical's got a summer sale on, including daily flash deals. Today's include Tales of Arise for under $10.

It is, for some reason, slightly cheaper today.
Re: Hot game deals
Humble's got a Beamdog and Owlcat bundle on, in case you don't already have the enhanced editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, et al.
There's also a Capcom bundle going that's got some pretty good games in it, if you want to give Capcom your business after their recent adding-DRM-to-single-player-games shenanigans. (Maybe zero out that "publisher share" slider if you do.)

Re: Hot game deals
Steam's got a sale on rhythm games. Crypt of the NecroDancer is $3.
Re: Hot game deals
$25 off Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom at QVC if you enter code KCLQVC25 at checkout. Requires an e-mail address you haven't bought anything at QVC with before.
Or you could get $30 off with code WELCOME30 if you buy that plus one other thing.

Re: Hot game deals
Larian sale on at Steam. BG3 under $50, various Divinity games a lot less than that.
Re: Hot game deals
Fanatical's got a sale on Sony games. (Steam does too, but the Fanatical one looks like it's got deeper discounts.) I think these are all-time low prices on Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West. (Well, all-time low prices on the PC versions; they've gone lower on PS4 and 5.)
Re: Hot game deals
Fanatical's also got various BYO bundle deals on. The Prestige Collection choices include Hi-Fi Rush, the Star Wars Collection, Control, Skyrim, Dying Light, Saints Row (2023), and Corpse Keeper.
Re: Hot game deals
Half-Life sale on, with the first game marked down to 99 cents and Half-Life 2 free, in case there's anybody who doesn't already have them.
Re: Hot game deals
Humble Sci-Fi Shooters bundle. Doom 2016 at the $1 tier; the full bundle also includes Prey 2017 and the remasters of System Shock, Dark Forces, and Crysis 1-3.
Re: Hot game deals
Steam sale on.
I'm thinking UFO 50 for this one. Maybe the NGPC packs too.
