I hadn't really paid attention to the mechanics of buying housing plots so far because there weren't any to buy, but now that they've added some, wow, what a shitshow.

I guess that removes any qualms I had about spending millions of gil on clothing materials instead. What the the void else am I supposed to spend my despicable, obscene wealth on?

More glamour plates would be welcome but it's really the 400/400 that's irritating me.

It's that time again! In the current state of the game, anyone play on a shard that can connect to Goblin?

I don't even have shadowbringers, just focusing on finishing the arr epilogue and heavensword for now. But actually finding a guild would probably help keep me for the long term, and find the new things to do that I have access to, instead of just dungeon and story quests back-to-back.

I'm not 100% sure how it works, but I'm on Midgardsormr, which is on Aether, and Goblin is on Crystal, so... prrrrobably not?

Yeah, as I was made aware by a join queue in the middle of a weekday, my precious little Goblin and Coeurl are now mixed in with Balmung on Crystal. Which I'm pretty sure puts me with Lyrai, Buge, and whoever is left of the Legitimate Businessmen group playing.

Pretty sure TA is on Aether with you, and I think Stush? I'll have to check with them on twitter. Otherwise I know Romo plays but no where. Don't know who else is actively active.

Finally finishing the ARR story got me pretty pumped, and I'm learning how much easier basically every mechanic has gotten. I've cleared every Triple Triad challenge as I get to it since my return, while I remember grinding for hours against npcs with basically no reward before. I may even get back into handies and landies.

Well, I've been hearing it for years, but apparently there is forever an update that allows cross-cluster play coming to look out for.
