The thing about Sonic fandom is it's like a weirdly concentrated distillation of fandom in general. IME the majority are perfectly lovely people, but you really don't have to scratch hard to get to the weird porn (link is SFW) and the dudes who are weirdly, pathologically loyal to a Corporate Brand instead of to actual human beings.

Penders himself...well, first of all, I kind of like the dude, even if he gives me a good reason to use the word "weird" for the third time in two sentences. And second, my opinions on the man and his work are completely fucking irrelevant to the merits of his legal arguments, which is a concept a lot of fans seemed unable to grasp.

I think I may have found that hard drive with my old Sonic comic reviews on it. I have way too much shit to do right now to go through it, but I'm still endlessly amused at the prospect of putting them all up on my blog, so I'll probably look into it eventually.

And I'm still not finished moving. No downpour this Fourth of July, but 105 degrees and 54% humidity made for frequent breaks and not as much productivity as I would have liked.
