A Brief History of Brontoforumus
Re: A Brief History of Brontoforumus
Gotta get it out of the way so they can bail out before new drama happens.

I don't think it was past drama that scared her off. If anything, she seemed to be fascinated by it.

This seems like a good place to mention that I have brontoforum.us catalogued in my head as Internet Callahan's but Real.

you would say that, RUMMY
Re: A Brief History of Brontoforumus
There was an immediate dredging up of like every bad thing that's happened here over the past two decades. Like, Max came back just to say he left because he hated the culture.
It wasn't exactly a home run fellas
That said, got some good LPs started so we're veering toward the positive again.

Yeah, not going to lie, it was a bit weird.

Re: A Brief History of Brontoforumus
It was certainly odd seeing a bunch of people come back and post again. But that was good!

And now he's gone again.
Re: A Brief History of Brontoforumus
At least everyone was nice and polite to our old friends when they returned, right?
Because we are all getting older and less and less likely to make friends with each passing step to the grave, a grave that was once distant but thanks to the political and social climate is hurdling towards us at an equally terrifying and numbing rate so we should cling on to any bit of happiness and companionship that we can instead of shooing people away because 7 years ago they were kind of a dick (even though there is plenty of proof that we were actively a dick too)?
And to do otherwise would be a bit silly, right?
Right?

He's probably not going to be a regular again, but it felt like he'll still check in from time to time.

I do kinda want to bring back karma...
Lemme look into it later this week.

I'm still lurking, I'm just not scanning the board every few hours. I wasn't super active even when we were still called Pyoko. I'm also not 16 anymore and don't need to post every random thought or cool thing that passes through my head. I am trying to log into #FF on my days off.
To say I hated the culture is not entirely accurate. There were things I enjoyed and a handful of people being assholes. Much like a family get-together during the holidays. Kazz's death though did put me in a spiral where I only saw the negative for about a month though. I appreciate being noticed though, so thanks I guess?

I'm just glad I can still ruin everything. Got that old Bal charm after all this time.
