Which of the Shovel Knight knights aren't humans?

Been playing through Shovel Knight again lately and saw for the first time the rare helmetless catfish-headed Shovel Knight lookalike running around Armor Outpost. Got me thinking.

This is a world with animal-people all over the place. Anthro horses, anthro hedgehogs, pun-loving and pun-hating anthro frogs, anthro roosters, and so on. Most of the Knights wear helmets that cover up their heads and faces, obscuring what could be animal features. Which of the Knights are regular human beings, and which are secretly anthro animals?

Specter Knight is a gimme, he's an undead that used to be a human. Shield Knight, Polar Knight, and Scrap Knight are left off the poll on account of not obscuring their humanness, Hive Knight is listed ingame as being a human underneath the mask and goggles.

Of course there's no canon confirmation for the rest, so I wanna hear whatever whimsical justification you might have for who's what.

Shovel Knight is clearly a furry of some sort because he is a guest character in Rivals of Aether, a smash-like game featuring only furry characters
