we don't have a burn thread. this one is close enough

The best part is that natural gas is a more potent greenhouse gas than its combined combustion products -- burning natural gas for no reason is literally better than letting it leak out of the pipes (as it will do when unused).
How fleeting are all human passions compared with the massive continuity of ducks.

The quoted article, obviously, not the tweet (included cause it's a great reply).

He'd never go watch a movie in the theater. Artists make movies.

Just a note: sharing tweets increases engagement and gives them views. Taking a screenshot doesn't.

Screenshots of tweets have problems too, chief of which is that they're a hearty "fuck you" to people who use screen readers. (They're also easy to fake -- not that I'm saying anyone here would do that on purpose, but I've seen people on other sites credulously share images that appeared to be screenshots of real tweets but turned out not to be.)
Linking to a Nitter mirror is another option that I'd argue avoids most of the problems of either a Twitter embed or a screenshot. It won't show the tweet inline on the page, though, and also there may be a downside.
Seeing something terrible and then not sharing it is an option too. Though 43 pages in it's pretty clear that I've been outvoted on that one.
