Sadly, the Welsh have mostly had Stockholm Syndrome since the 14th century.

I mean Welsh nationalists are a group which exists, but most Welsh do annoyingly stubborn things like vote for Tories or Brexit.

Maybe that'll change if when the Scots leave and go back to being a part of the EU.

Now I'm picturing 17th Century Welsh audiences cheering and throwing leeks every time Fluellen comes onto the stage.

Let us remember Ken Starr not just as the man who ruined a young woman's life as part of a politically-motivated fishing expedition, but also as the man who represented Epstein, Trump, Blackwater, and Prop 8 supporters, covered up rape allegations at Baylor, and cheated on his wife.

Louise Fletcher, best known for her performance as Nurse Ratched.

I also saw her in a movie Svengoolie showed recently, the 1986 version of Invaders from Mars; it was surprisingly good (particularly in its creature effects). Fletcher played a mean teacher.

Sacheen Littlefeather. She lived long enough for the Academy to apologize to her; it was a nice gesture but a lot less than she deserved.

That's the truth. One of my first thoughts on hearing the news about the apology was "better too late than never."
